Cassie is currently fundraising for ongoing expenses due to multiple chronic illnesses.

Cassie has been diagnosed with multiple chronic illnesses. In 2016, she was diagnosed with cancer in her thyroid and one of her lymph nodes and underwent surgery and radiation. Her continued declining health led to her finally receiving diagnoses of autoimmune disease, fibromyalgia, chronic headaches and migraines, myalgic encephalomyelitis (ME/CFS), Raynaud’s.

She has also been diagnosed with neuropathy and a form of Dysautonomia called POTS (postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome). Basically, her doctor believes her autoimmune disease is causing her body to attack her own nervous system. Her doctors believe she has probably had several of these conditions for most of her life, and that they have continued to worsen.

There are no cures for any of Cassie’s chronic conditions.

Our goal right now is to continue pursuing treatments that help Cassie manage her pain, and to find treatments and medication to lessen her symptoms and regain more functionality.

Donations will go to cover ongoing medical expenses like medication, doctor appointments, tests, infusions, travel expenses, etc.

Cassie experiences symptoms like constant fatigue, pain, daily headaches, frequent migraines and autoimmune fevers. Tachycardia, low blood pressure, dizziness, and difficulty breathing are also daily symptoms.
