Charleston Stroughter

My name is Charleston Stroughter, and I’ve been battling kidney failure for 9 years while relying on dialysis to stay alive. Three days a week, I spend nearly 4 hours connected to a machine that leaves me drained and exhausted, but I keep fighting for my wife of 26 years and our two children.

My only chance at a longer, healthier life is a kidney transplant, and this fundraiser will help with the costs of surgery, recovery, and ongoing care. I am raising money through the nonprofit program Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with my transplant. I chose Help Hope Live in part because donations are tax deductible for contributors and will only be used to cover medical and related expenses.
