I am a single Mom of two beautiful little girls, ages 9 and 3. I had a challenging early childhood until I was adopted at 7 years old by a very big and loving family. I have been met with a lot of loss in my life; I have lost a brother, my parents and both grandparents. I currently rent a basement apartment from my daughters grandparents so that I have help with my girls from time to time.

In 2009 I had a biopsy on my kidneys and was diagnosed with FSGS and hypertension. Ten years later, in 2019 I was diagnosed with stage 5 kidney failure, end stage renal disease. I have been on a daily dialysis treatment for a little over a year. As hard as this has been on me physically, I have to remain strong and persevere for my daughters.

In order for me to have a chance in this fight I now need a kidney transplant.

In order to receive a kidney transplant I have had to undergo many demanding tests to prove that I am strong enough to heal from the transplant itself, and I have to have enough money saved up to live off of for one year. I also have to find family and friends to assist me for 1-2 months with not only the healing process, but also with my girls.
