Cheryl Gilpatrick is a 67-year-old woman who was diagnosed with non-alcoholic cirrhosis. A liver transplant is her only hope for survival. Cheryl is one of the bravest people you would ever meet and she needs our help. The cost of her transplant is overwhelming!!

Cheryl grew up in a small town in southern Maine called Limington. She graduated from a local high school and then met her husband Richard of 47 years. She raised her two children and then left her job to take care of her first grandson until he entered school. Family is and always will be the center of her world. Cheryl now has four grandchildren and that little boy that she once took care of, now has a little boy of his own who she wants to see grow up. Cheryl’s entire family is committed to seeing her through this transplant.

After many years of helping others, Cheryl is now the one that needs our help. The cost of the transplant, the medications and the post-transplant care will be very expensive. While Cheryl does have insurance, it doesn’t even begin to cover all of the expected expenses.

We are raising money to pay for uninsured medical expenses associated with transplantation.
