Chris Tagatac

Dear Friends and Supporters,

As most of you know, July 26, 2011 was a life-changing day for my friend Chris Tagatac. Chris suffered a spinal cord injury after falling from his roof in Stowe, Vermont. I can tell you there have been some very dark days for Chris but his spirit is intact and his will to fight has never been stronger.

It is hard to believe that it has been almost six years since Chris was injured. He has participated in a few of his favorite sports including monoskiing, bicycle racing, and sled hockey. Chris is now trying to add golf back into the list of sports he wants to get back.

The Paragolfer by a company called Ottobock will allow Chris to stand up and play his ball from anywhere on the golf course including traps and greens. It is a one person golf cart that will hold his golf bag and allow him the freedom that all golfers enjoy on the links. Chris does not have lower limb mobility or most of his core strength so he will have to learn to swing the club in a whole new way. Chris is very interested in purchasing a Paragolfer this year. They cost roughly $32,000. Please consider helping Chris offset this expense by donating to this page.
