I am raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with a kidney transplant. I have chosen to fundraise with Help Hope Live in part because donations are tax deductible for contributors and will only be used to cover medical and related expenses. I was diagnosed with diabetes in 2010, and like a lot of people, I didn’t take care of myself, thinking with the mindset that “Nothing is going to happen to me!!”.

Fast forward to February 2023, with the loss of my youngest daughter, my health spiraled out of control. I was diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease and it swiftly progressed to kidney failure. I am currently on peritoneal dialysis, home dialysis, while I patiently await my turn on the transplant list. I would greatly appreciate any help that you can give, whether it be one dollar or one hundred dollars.
