Christopher S Wathey

Christopher Wathey (Chris) has been helping people with disabilities and caregiving to friends and families for over 10 years. Chris was instrumental in the startup of a charity, Bridge to Mobility, which has assisted over 250 individuals and families increase their accessibility improving medical, education and employment outcomes along with increasing social and community engagement partnering with charities including Help Hope Live.

On July 1, Chris went in for a routine medical test. A follow up test on July 29 caused Chris to be hospitalized immediately and the diagnosis of bile duct cancer was a shock to his family, friends, and the team at Bridge to Mobility. Through his four surgical procedures and hospitalizations, Chris kept his commitment to helping other at the forefront, continuing to help others through his work at Bridge to Mobility. That continues to this day.

The medical cost of additional surgeries and treatment are overwhelming, and we are trying to support Chris as he battles this disease. The costs associated with treatment, including medications, surgeries, hospital stays, specialized care, and ongoing therapies—can quickly become overwhelming.

He has always believed in the greater good and helping others. We are starting a campaign for Chris to relieve the financial burdens of this diagnosis and get him on the road to recovery to continue his mission to help others. We are reaching out today with a heartfelt request for assistance as he faces the challenging journey of cancer treatment.
