HELP CINDY GET HER NEW KIDNEY!

Cindy Gower is in need of a kidney transplant and is appealing to her community to help make it happen.

Cindy is a lifelong resident of Jackson, TN, and is a proud member of East Union Baptist Church. She formerly worked at Waffle House and Quaker Oats. She met the love of her life on Valentine’s Day, 2001. They were married on Christmas Eve, 2002, and were blessed with two beautiful children.

In March 2014, Cindy was diagnosed with end stage renal failure. She now requires dialysis three times per week. Due to her health challenges, she is no longer able to do many of the things she loves. Never did she think that a sickness could change her life so much! She misses being an active wife and mother. Because of her many medical expenses, finances are very tight and her family has made many sacrifices. She hopes to be receive the ultimate gift of life as she desperately wants to make things easier on them.

Transplantation is life-saving, but very expensive. Funding this procedure is a monumental task as there will be many related expenses not covered by insurance including a lifetime of costly anti-rejection medications. Current and expected medical bills are adding up to more than the Gower family can handle alone.

To help with financial burden of Cindy’s uninsured expenses, a fundraising campaign in her honor has been established with Help Hope Live, a trusted nonprofit organization that has been providing community-based fundraising guidance to patients and their families for more than 30 years.
