Claude’s journey is a testament to strength and love. Forced to leave his home country with his wife—who loves him deeply—and his nine-year-old twins, Ian and Iris, due to political and civil unrest, he left behind a thriving aviation career in pursuit of a new beginning in New York. Life, however, had other plans. Shortly after his arrival, a severe cold developed into pneumonia, which tragically escalated into heart failure. Claude has bravely battled numerous strokes and undergone multiple surgeries, yet his health continued to decline. The most heart-wrenching moment came on January 1st when, while driving with his beloved family, he passed out, leading to a devastating car accident.

Now, Claude has been hospitalized for over a month and is in urgent need of a heart transplant—a lifeline that promises a second lease on life with the family he adores. His wife and twins have endured this tumultuous journey alongside him, carrying the emotional weight of these experiences every day. With the loss of his job just a week before his long-term hospital stay, Claude now faces the additional burden of mounting medical and uninsured related expenses.
