Connor Bean

Connor is a joyful, giggly 7 year old whose laughter can brighten any room.  We found each other and his four biological siblings through foster care and are privileged to be a forever family of seven through adoption. We are so blessed to have him as part of our lives, and every day he inspires us with his resilience and determination.

Connor lives with global developmental delays and is currently non-verbal and non-ambulatory. He requires full support to navigate his surroundings and participate in daily life. Each day, Connor works hard with the help of his braces, gait trainer, and stander to strengthen his body.

Despite these challenges, Connor approaches life with joy, curiosity, and determination. With the right support and environment, Connor thrives.

To ensure Connor has the access and opportunities he deserves, we are seeking support to make critical home modifications. These modifications include things such as handicap ramp, widening door ways and making first floor of the home wheelchair accessible. These will ensure our home is adapted for Connors daily care, safety and mobility needs.

Your donation will help Connor by:

• Creating a more accessible home environment that supports his mobility and care

• Giving Connor the opportunity to engage more fully with his family, school, and community

Connor’s medical journey includes multiple diagnoses such as TRIO Gene Disorder, 16p12.2 Chromosomal Deletion, bilateral hip dysplasia, hypotonia, and cortical visual impairment. His care team of doctors, therapists, and specialists guide his daily routines, therapies, and equipment use, all of which require ongoing adaptation and support.
