Newton Couple Has Kidney Transplant

In February 2012 Craig was told that he was in end-stage renal failure and needed to prepare for dialysis and that the only solution was a kidney transplant.

In July the amazing staff at BIDMC removed his wife’s left kidney and implanted in it in Craig. The transplant was a complete success and he is doing great.

A fundraising campaign has been established with HelpHOPELive, a nonprofit organization that has been assisting the transplant community for over 30 years.
