My wife Cindy desperately needs your help.

Cindy’s battle with COPD and Emphysema is fast approaching a critical point. She has been recommended by her doctor for a single lung transplant. She has already started the evaluation process at Duke Medical Center. Current tests results show that she is in end stage COPD and will need a lung transplant very soon.

Although this is usually a very long process she is already scheduled to return to Duke at the end of September for a five day medical evaluation to determine when she can be accepted. Once accepted we will be required to relocate to Durham NC for at least five months, maybe longer depending on her post op care needs. This relocation as well as the out of pocket medical expenses are the reason Cindy needs your help.

At a minimum we will need $15,000 just to cover relocating and living expenses. In addition we will have at least $9,000 of out of pocket medical expenses not covered by her insurance. To say the least this is a daunting task for us to accomplish.
