Help For a Man with a Huge Heart!

Bro. Dan is in need of a new heart. For the past 18 years his heart has slowly been giving out. It is now at a critical point and he needs a heart transplant to survive. He has always been an active person, but his heart just won’t let him do much anymore.

Dan is the administrator of North River Christian Academy and Preschool, a Christian school that educates students and equips them to glorify God in all they do. He is well loved and respected by all his students – from preschoolers to high school graduates. He has worked tirelessly his entire life to point people to Jesus and to help them become the best they can be. We want him to continue to be a positive influence in the lives of students and in the community.

While Dan has health insurance, the many copays and deductibles accumulate quickly. There are many other hidden costs with heart transplants that include trips to the transplant center, very expensive anti-rejection medicines, and costs in remaining close to the hospital post-transplant.
