Imagine not being able to leave the house because your car door won’t open. Or, your car won’t start, and you can’t catch a ride with a friend because you’re physically unable to get in their vehicle.These are just a few of the daily struggles Danielle faces with her 1997 Ford Windstar. She really needs a safe and accessible van she can depend on. One that will give her the independence she deserves.

In 2010, Danielle was involved in an automobile accident, and she suffered a spinal cord injury that left her paralyzed from the chest down. Over the past 8 years, Danielle has worked diligently to regain her independence while adjusting to life in a wheelchair. She is a single mother and a strong woman of faith. Her positive attitude, strong will, and perseverance is a true inspiration to everyone she meets. Danielle’s greatest desires are to care for her son, be active in her community, and to serve her church. In order to do these things Danielle has to have reliable transportation.

The cost of a safe and reliable van, modified to accommodate a power wheelchair, is approximately $45,000. Danielle’s only source of income is her disability, making it impossible for her to afford a new van on her own. You can help Danielle today!!
