Dear Friends and Family,

Many of you know my loving husband Danny Rowland. He is the wonderful father to our children Joshua, Aaron, Amy, Ashley, Noah and grandfather of our six grandchildren. He is currently working for the city parks department of Andover.

Most of you know that Danny has been battling renal failure for several years. His health has deteriorated to the point that he is now in end stage renal failure, is on dialysis and his doctors at Via Christi Regional Medical Center/St. Francis have told us that his only option is a life-saving kidney transplant.

Danny and I have come to realize that funding this surgery is a monumental task since there are so many expenses that will not be covered and must be paid for out of pocket. Some of these are co-pays, deductibles and Danny will be on a life-time of anti-rejection medications. This is where your help is needed.

In order to ease the financial burden, a fundraising campaign in Danny’s honor has been established with HelpHOPELive (formerly NTAF), a nonprofit organization that has been assisting the transplant community for nearly 30 years. All donations are tax deductible, are held by HelpHOPELive in the Midwest/West Kidney Transplant Fund, and are administered by HelpHOPELive for transplant-related expenses only.
