Danny R Sanchez

Danny has been diagnosed and subsequently battling Chronic Kidney Disease. After 4 years of being on dialysis he has been fortunate enough to be approved for kidney transplant through his hard work and strong faith.

Anyone who knows him knows he is an amazing cook.  Danny is surrounded by his family and friends. He enjoys spending time with his 3 kids, and 4 grandbabies. The continued support of his brothers and sisters has been unmatched in his efforts to continue to improve his health. 

While going to dialysis three days a week is a battle on its own, even the “off” days are a struggle. It is hard to see my dad not feel well most days.

 Although we are extremely grateful and blessed to have come this far and, in a position to be waiting for donor kidney to become available, now comes the burden of financial stress. 

We are trying to raise money on behalf of my dad to help with post-transplant expenses. Funds will go to anti-rejection medications, and other recipient care needs. The transplant team estimates we will need about $3,500. 

Danny hopes that this kidney transplant will get him back to feeling like himself and back into work. He is looking forward to start traveling and reclaim time with his family that has been taken from him while battling this illness.
