Dario Leos

Family and friends of Dario Leos are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund for his hospital stay and relocation expenses for his lung transplant procedure. Dario has chosen to fundraise with Help Hope Live in part because donations are tax deductible for contributors and will only be used to cover medical and related expenses.Dario Leos is a 66 year-old father of two. A hard worker, he has spent his life working respectable jobs in maintenance and construction to provide for his family. In September 2023, Dario was diagnosed with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis. It is a chronic lung disease that causes irreversible scarring to the lungs that will be fatal without a transplant procedure. He will be undergoing a lung transplant with the Baylor St. Luke hospital in Houston in order to prolong his life regain the ability to live and travel freely without the need of oxygen tanks and a breathing machine. He hopes to work on home improvement projects once he is fully recovered and spend more time with his family.Dario will have to relocate from Victoria TX, to Houston in order to have his transplant procedure. He will be required to stay in Houston for 3 to 5 months in order to be monitored by hospital staff as he recovers from his operation. In order to cover these relocation expenses and additional hospital stay costs, we are asking for your kind donations. Anything will help!
