David Naylor

Dear Family, Friends, and Community,

Many of you may know my Dad, David Naylor. Dad is from the Morrell Park neighborhood of Northeast Philadelphia, the loving husband of Anna Marie, and wonderful father of David Jr., Michael, myself, full time caregiver to his mother and good friend to many. He is a history buff and a man of all trades. He is always there to answer and solve any sort of problem, loves to cook, listen to classical music and take family camping trips.

Unfortunately, Dad is no longer able to work or do so many of the things he always loved to do. Two years ago, he was diagnosed with end stage liver disease and renal failure. His doctors at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital have told him that his only option now is a life-saving liver transplant. Our family has come to realize that funding this surgery is a monumental task since there are so many uninsured transplant-related expenses.

To help ease the financial burden, a fundraising campaign in Dad’s honor has been established with HelpHOPELive (formerly NTAF), a nonprofit organization that has been assisting the transplant community for nearly 30 years. All donations are tax deductible, are held by HelpHOPELive in the Mid-Atlantic Liver Transplant Fund, and are administered by HelpHOPELive for transplant-related expenses only.
