Help Needed for Treatment of Traumatic Brain Injury

Dawn was driving with her daughters when her brakes failed and they hit a tree head on. She suffered a brain, neck, and spine injury. Since the accident, Dawn has been pursuing rehabilitation and appropriate care. She suffers from debilitating pain every day, but she has not given up hope. Though she has multiple health insurances, a significant amount of care is not covered.

Before the accident Dawn worked full time as a registered nurse and she hopes to return to her nursing career. She is a mother of four and an active member of her faith community. Dawn hopes to use her experiences with traumatic brain injuries, chronic pain, and other health struggles as a way to help others.

Your donations will help Dawn receive spinal treatment needed to decrease her daily pain and rehabilitate her back to nursing. Dawn also needs extensive dental care due to difficulty absorbing nutrients after the brain injury. Your donations will help her cover the expensive out of pocket procedures.
