Dayton Premeaux
New Braunfels, TX
My name is Whitney, and I am writing this as a desperate mother. My son, Dayton, is only 15 years old but every day, I am forced to watch his body and mind betray him in ways no child should ever endure.
Dayton is medically fragile with 11 diagnoses, including catatonia a rare, life-threatening condition that is shutting down his body. His pain is relentless. His once-active feet are now turning black from blood flow complications. He faints, his body turns blue, he struggles to regulate his temperature, and he rages in agony because he cannot tell us what hurts.
We have fought for years against a broken system that has failed him at every turn. Doctors dismiss his complexity. Programs gave up on him. Services are always “waitlisted” or “denied.” And while agencies debate, my son is running out of time.
Dayton is dying.
And yet he is still here. Still fighting. Still showing us glimpses of his beautiful spirit through music, water play, and rare moments of peace. He deserves the chance to live. He deserves a childhood.
But I cannot do this alone.
We urgently need to relocate him to a medical environment where he can access the right specialists, intensive care, and the equipment that may keep him alive. We also need safe transportation a large SUV to carry his wheelchair/stroller, his siblings, and his care team to appointments.
This campaign is not about “extras.” It’s not about comfort. It’s about survival.
Every dollar you give will directly help us:
Secure safe, reliable transportation to get him to lifesaving care.
Relocate him to critical medical support.
Cover the crushing costs of medications, adaptive equipment, and attendant care not covered by insurance.
We have already lost so much time fighting systems that don’t see him. Now I’m turning to you family, friends, community, and strangers with kind hearts to help me save my son’s life.
Please, if you can, donate. Share. Pray. Every bit matters. Every share could connect us to the person who saves him.
Dayton’s life is worth saving. And as his mother, I will not stop fighting but I need your help to keep him alive.
Make a tax-deductible donation to support this campaign.
