Currently, I am an End Stage, Chronic Kidney disease patient in need of a kidney. I am being worked up to be on the kidney transplant list at the University of Florida, Shand’s Hospital in Gainesville.

In 1988, I was prescribed a medication that severely damaged my kidneys. It was not until 2018 that a doctor took me off the medication due to declining kidney function. My kidney function continued to decline even after I discontinued
the medication in 2018.

Family and friends of Deborah Stevens are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with transplantation.
