Help Me Fund My New Vehicle/Independence

Hey everybody, my name is Derek, and I was born with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Life has not always been easy for me, due to my limited capabilities and physical challenges, but I have always found enjoyment in my ability to travel places. Sporting events, Concerts, Movies, and Amusement parks are just a few of the things I enjoy on a normal basis. Within the past few months my current handicapped accessible vehicle has had many issues/repairs and is no longer a reliable source of transportation. With these numerous problems, I have missed out on many activities/events that I greatly enjoy. Unfortunately, the missing out on of events and activities is not the only issue this causes. This problem also has the possibility to affect my making of important doctor appointments, since two of them are four hours away. Therefore, with the help of HELP HOPE LIVE, my goal is to raise enough money to afford/purchase a new handicapped accessible vehicle.

With these new set of wheels, I can safely and reliably continue to partake in the activities/events that give my life a certain enjoyment and meaning. A vehicle is a necessity for all people, so they make it a priority purchase. For me, unfortunately due to my limited income and inability to maintain a full-time job, a purchase like that is just out of the question. So, I am asking my friends, family, and community if they could please consider making a donation to HELP HOPE LIVE in my honor to help me make this purchase.
