Family and friends of D.Jay Forbes are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund a Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle to assist in transporting him.

D.Jay suffered a heart attack on Oct. 7th, 2020. He was without oxygen for 40 minutes, according to doctors and paramedics. He suffered what is called, Anoxic Brain Injury. He is currently bedbound, but receiving Physical Therapy. This therapy is helping him learn to sit and walk again.

We can not get him out of the home due to transportation that will accommodate a wheelchair. He has been homebound for over a year now.

We have chosen to fundraise for Help Hope Live in part because Help Hope Live assures fiscal accountability of funds raised and tax deductibility for contributors.
