My name is Donnie Thomas and here’s my (short) story.

During the summer of 1986 ,At the age of 15 , I was involved in an auto accident in Weatherford TX. I suffered a broken neck (C5-6 incomplete spinal cord injury) which left me paralyzed from the neck down. As the years went by and By the Grace of God I was able to get quite a bit of return of functionality which enabled me to be able to drive by the age of 20 without the need for an Accessible Vehicle. What an Incredible Feeling of being Independent that gave me is Indescribable. Now at the age 53 , that Independence is being Tested and the time has come to have a modified or accessible vehicle. My current vehicle cannot be modified. I have a Wonderful seasonal PT job where My Love for Sports and Helping others come together in the form of being a Guest Services Representative in the ADA section for the 2023 World Champion Texas Rangers @ Globe Life Field located in Arlington, Tx.
I am also a part of the Dallas Mavericks and Dallas Stars teams where I work Seasonal. I have been a Sports Fanatic since a kid & Love working in the sports industry. Sports brings people together and I hope that you join my Team in accomplishing this goal.
