Help Donnie in his Recovery

On January 30, 2019 Donnie was on his way to work from his girlfriend’s house near Allentown when he was in a serious car accident. He was airlifted to Lehigh Valley Hospital where he was diagnosed with a complete C2-3 and T1-2 spinal cord injury leaving him with paralysis from the chest down.

After a week in ICU and two spine surgeries, Donnie was transported to Allied Service and Rehab facility in Scranton where he continues to work daily to regain function and mobility. Donnie can use his arms and hands but his long term prognosis remains unclear.

Family and friends of Donald Welsch are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with Catastrophic Injury.
