Donnie Finley

Donnie Finley is a 58-year-old male who is need of a kidney transplant. After years of struggling with renal failure, a kidney transplant is his only hope for a long and healthy life. Donnie is the most active and caring person you will ever meet and he needs our help. The cost of a transplant can be overwhelming.

Donnie grew up in Lawton, Oklahoma and graduated from Eisenhower High School in 1976. He went on to work for Goodyear Tire and Rubber for eight years. Afterward, he drove a truck for 11 years, which he loved. Due to his illness, he had to stop working, but would love to get back to it again post-transplant. In the meantime, Donnie has graduated from Cameron University with a AS degree in computer science, and is still studying for a BA in business. He has a lovely wife, Kimberly, to whom he has been married for 32 years, and three children, Donisha, Ashley, and Aaron. Together, Donnie and his family are committed to seeing him through this transplant.

Transplants are lifesaving, but financially draining. Even with insurance, Donnie is facing very high expenses, including relocation for six months to be closer to OU Medical Center, post-transplant medications of up to $1200 a month, copays, lab fees and more.

To help with the financial burden of Donnie’s uninsured expenses, a fundraising campaign in his honor has been established with Help Hope Live, a trusted nonprofit organization that has been providing community-based fundraising guidance to patients and their families for more than 30 years.
