Dee Turner

Our mother, Dee Turner, has received her haplo bone marrow transplant and now has a new birth day of 10/6/16! Dee is one of the kindest people you’d ever hope to meet and she still needs our help. She is a wonderful mother, grandmother and good friend to many. She has a strong Christian faith and is a member of the Jerusalem Baptist Church of Doswell, VA. Dee has always worked hard to support her family. She worked for many years at a dialysis center and through her work she has touched the lives of hundreds of patients and their families, easing their fears and helping them to understand and begin the process of dialysis. Through her own battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia , she has been incredibly strong and determined to recover from this cancer!

Transplants are life saving but financially draining. Even with insurance, Dee is facing very high out of pocket expenses including co-pays, deductibles, travel to the hospital and caregiver fees, just to name a few. In addition, she will be on a life-time of anti-rejection medications. This is why your support is needed.

A fundraising campaign in Dee’s honor has been established with Help Hope Live, a trusted nonprofit organization that has been providing community-based fundraising guidance to patients and their families for more than 30 years.
