Dudley Needs Our Help

Dudley Edmondson, a friend to so many people, has kidney failure and is now in need of a kidney transplant. About ten years ago Dudley was diagnosed with focal segmental glomerulosclerosis (FSGS), a debilitating disease that attacks the kidneys. Transplants are life saving but very expensive and Dudley needs help from his family, friends and community to make it happen.

Dudley is a Videographer/Author and an extremely active person, biking, running, and swimming. He is also a tireless volunteer donating his time to local and national youth programs. While he is doing his best to maintain these activities, he increasingly has periods of fatigue, nausea and cognitive issues. Dudley and his wife Nancy are very hopeful for their future, once his transplant is completed at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester.

While health care insurance is helpful, there are numerous costs associated with transplantation not covered by insurance. Dudley and Nancy will have travel costs, living expenses away from home around the time of transplant, potential living donor expenses, and loss of income, co pays, and medication costs which may be thousands of dollars.
