Urgent Help Needed: Supporting Edward’s Recovery

Dear Friend, Family, and Community,

I hope this message finds you well. We are reaching out to you with heavy hearts and a plea for help during a challenging time for our family.

In early spring 2023, my beloved husband, Edward, was diagnosed with Pulmonary Fibrosis, a debilitating lung disease. the condition progressed rapidly, leading to respiratory failure and an extended hospitalization of over 100 days. Edward underwent a life-saving double lung transplant on 10/31/2023, and while we are incredibly grateful for this second chance at life, the journey to recovery is far from over.

The medical expenses associated with the transplant, ongoing treatments, and the necessary lifestyle adjustments have placed an immense financial burden on our family. As Edward is unable to work for at least one year following the transplant, we are faced with the challenge of covering our day-to-day living expenses, including mortgage payments, utilities, and other essential needs.

Despite our best efforts, we fear that without additional support, we may lose our home. We are reaching out to our friends, family, and community for assistance during this critical time.
