We Have Eileen Back, Now Begins the Lifelong Road to Recovery

To our friends and family. As some of you may know, our mother Eileen Toner has undergone a double lung transplant at Temple University Hospital. For the past two years, Eileen has battled severe Pulmonary Hypertension that has led to such a critical outcome. We have been incredibly fortunate and blessed that the procedure was successful and she is now on the long road to recovery.

This surgery has been a significant first step in what we know will be a long, obstacle filled, journey to get Eileen back to a normal and healthy life. One of those major obstacles is the heavy financial cost that comes with such medical procedures and recovery efforts that follow. A few of the many things we need to consider and account for are numerous physical and speech therapies, countless medicines, and in home care once she is out of the hospital. We are asking those who are capable to please consider contributing to assist with these expenses.

Our mom has been strong throughout this journey but can use all of the help and prayers she can get from the ones who care about her the most. Her children, (Kelsey, Kristina, & Mark Jr.) her husband Mark, and her granddaughter Lucy, would like to thank you all in advance for your well wishes and contribution.
