My name is Elie-joe 52 years old single father for one son. On Feb 25 2019, I was diagnosed with Liver Cirrhosis with high MELD score during the next three months. Therefore; my life changed dramatically and my journey started with all kinds of treatments for a liver transplant that estimates a patient’s chances of surviving their disease during the next three months.

With the help of few Dr.’s I am alive.

Before that, I supported the Marine Corp as well as the Navy Seals for almost 10 years and I did manage to survive all through my deployment.

Since I started taking all kinds of medication to release all the built-up fluids in my Abdomen plus the Paracentesis sessions twice per week made me so tired and not myself to live a normal life as I used too.

My insurance, does not cover all expenses related to receiving a transplant, co-pays, test, travel to access treatment, medical supplies.

This is all pre-transplant and I also have to fundraise for after the transplant, follow-up appointments, co-pays for medication and outright cost for anti-rejection medications, more travel to access treatment, and more.
