My sister Liz gravely needs your help.

Liz is in need of a kidney transplant because she no longer has any good veins. She has been on dialysis for 9 years and 4 months. For the last 4 years, she has had over 20 surgeries. The doctors can no longer put dialysis access in the upper part of her body. All access is now being placed in her thighs. My sister’s insurance will only pay 80% of the cost. She is responsible for the 20% to pay.

My sister was diagnosed at the age of 20 with stage 4 ovarian cancer. She was given only six months to live. Most of her life was spent in and out the hospital. At the age of 47 she had a major stroke and lost the hearing in her left ear and lost her sight in the right eye, which was the beginning of her dialysis stage.

Donations will help with the resources of funding with her new kidney transplant and allow Liz to have a healthy recovery and a longer life to live.

We’re asking family and friends to help us in fundraising for the nonprofit Help Hope Live in honor of Liz to help with expense incurred due to transplant surgery, and the care required after surgery.
