Elizabeth is a devoted mother of three and a proud grandmother of three. She has always found joy in the simple things, taking long walks, staying active, and spending time with her family. For more than 22 years, she worked in a warehouse, showing up every day with quiet strength and determination until the facility eventually closed.

Five years ago, Elizabeth was diagnosed with a rare form of arthritis that affects the lungs. Even with the challenges that came with this diagnosis, she remained positive and independent. However, after contracting COVID-19, her condition worsened significantly, and her lung function declined beyond repair. She now depends on oxygen daily and needs a double lung transplant to survive.

Elizabeth lives in Marion, Arkansas, but the transplant must take place in St. Louis, Missouri. The cost of the procedure, travel and temporary housing during recovery will be significant.

Her family would like to raise $15,000 to help cover the following:

Medical costs not covered by insurance

Travel and lodging during treatment and recovery

Basic living expenses during her extended healing period

Due to her compromised immune system, Elizabeth now avoids public places and gatherings to prevent further illness. She deeply misses the active lifestyle she once enjoyed and dreams of regaining her strength, being present for her grandchildren, and living life without being tethered to an oxygen tank.
