Eric Needs Your Support

Eric Scott Pierce is a 32-year-old father of 3. Shortly after getting married 4 years ago, Eric was diagnosed with polycystic kidney disease, which caused his kidneys to become enlarged and covered in cysts. Transplants are life-saving, but are very costly, so Eric needs some help.

He grew up in Mustang, Oklahoma. After graduating high school in 2005, he began working around airplanes, and it is now his passion. A kidney is the very thing he needs to help him continue to do what he loves, and watch his children grow. He enjoys staying busy working on cars, or going to the lake. He is looking forward to getting back the energy this disease has taken from him. He has many friends and family who are supporting him and seeing him through this journey.

As you can imagine, transplants are financially draining. Even with insurance, Eric will face a lifetime of costly monthly prescriptions, lab visits, and copays. He will also be temporarily unable to work for up to 6 months. This presents a challenge that Eric and his family cannot meet alone.

To help with the financial burden of Eric’s uninsured expenses, a fundraising campaign in his honor has been established with Help Hope Live, a trusted nonprofit organization that has been providing community based fundraising guidance to patients and their families for more than 30 years. All donations are tax deductible to the full extent of the law, are held by Help Hope Live in the South- Central Kidney Transplant Fund, and are administered by Help Hope Live for transplant related expenses only.
