Erik Albert Dahlgren

Erik suffered a severe stroke in June 2021 during emergency open-heart surgery. Although his recovery so far continues to inspire us, he has not yet regained speech and motor function is limited.

We are raising money to fund therapies for stroke recovery that are not covered by insurance such as neuro-acupuncture. Neuro-acupuncture has proven to be an effective therapy for promoting neuroplasticity, which is the brain’s ability to rewire and create new pathways to restore function lost due to brain injury.

Erik’s family has chosen to fundraise with Help Hope Live because donations are tax deductible for contributors and will only be used to cover medical and related expenses.
