MY DAD, ERNESTO NEEDS YOUR HELP!

My dad was diagnosed with end stage kidney failure last year 2020 and has been fighting everyday. My dads kidney disease is so bad that he has to be on Dialysis. The doctors have told us that my dad has the option of considering getting a kidney transplantation and we as a family have decided this will be the best hope for my dad to live a long and healthy life. This transplant will be saving my dads life but, will also be very expensive this is definitely a difficult challenge that our family can’t reach alone. My mom has been doing everything she can and working hard to raise money for him. We are a family of 8. He has one grandson my baby boy Ameir that he must be around to watch him grow up he is the first one in the family.

My father has not worked since he was diagnosed, he has been trying to stay positive about everything and adjust to his new lifestyle. He plays the accordion and goes on walks but, only for a short period of time because how exhausted he gets. Some days he will be in pain and won’t want to get out of bed and we worry about him because we don’t want him to fall into depression. He is limited to the food that he eats and is on a renal diet.

To help with this financial burden of his uninsured expenses, a fundraising campaign in his honor has been established with Help Hope Live, a trusted nonprofit organization that has been providing community based fundraising guidance to patients and their families for more than 30 years.
