Help Florenda get a new kidney!

Florenda Ryder is in need of a kidney transplant and needs the help of her friends, family, and community to make it happen. Transplants are life-saving but very expensive.

A few years ago, Florenda was diagnosed with kidney disease which has recently been downgraded to stage 4, with a kidney function of 16%. Without a new kidney, Florenda will face years of dialysis and the side effects that go with it. Her only chance to return to good health is to get a new kidney. At this time, Florenda is hoping and praying for a live donor to donate a kidney. The waiting list in Michigan for a cadaver donor is 5-7 years! Her husband was willing to donate but unfortunately was not a match.

But funding this life saving procedure is a monumental task, as there will be many medical expenses not covered by insurance: Deductibles, Co-pays, anti-rejection medicines, travel expenses, etc.
