Frank Williams

Family and friends of Frank Williams are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with a Transplant. Frank has chosen to fundraise with Help Hope Live in part because donations are tax deductible for contributors and will only be used to cover medical and related expenses.

Franks Story:

Hello everyone, my name is Frank Williams. I am a Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Great-grandfather. I love listening to music, watching and going to sports events, and mentoring young people in the community. Most of all, I love spending time with my family.

Over the years, my health has presented challenges that have kept me from doing so many things I love to do. Over time , I developed kidney disease which has caused my kidneys to not function as they should, keeping me alive. I now must have dialysis three times a week for four hours at a time which limits the time I spend with family and friends and working with young people. 

A kidney transplant would give me more freedom and the ability to live a longer and more normal life. A transplant would also give me more time to do the fun things I enjoy the most. This life-changing procedure is my best chance for a healthier life.

The journey has not been easy. It’s been emotionally and financially challenging. Countless doctor visits, treatments, and dependence on others for assistance. 

While I am grateful for the opportunity to receive a transplant, the cost is quite a bit for us to handle. Pre and post-surgery medical care and the medications I’ll need for the rest of my life will be quite expensive. So, I’m reaching out for your support to help cover some of the costs. Any contribution will help bring me one step closer to a healthier future.
