Aunty Franny needs your help

My family and I were shocked when we found out that my mom, popularly known by my friends as Aunty Franny, was suffering from kidney failure and needs a transplant. My mom and I have always been close, but nothing brings you closer than a battle for better health. It is with desperation and humility that I call on my friends and family to join us in fundraising for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to help with this monumental expense.

My mom is literally the funniest person I know. Her faith, positivity and care have helped me believe in myself and pushes me to always remember what matters most – God, family, and health. I only took one proper vacation in my six years in consulting and it was the most amazing trip to Hawaii with my mom. I promised myself that I would prioritize rest and rejuvenation and planned on more vacations filled with laughs and fun with my mom. Her current condition is limiting, but I believe a transplant will restore her kidney function and provide us more opportunities to create memories and laugh together.

Without health insurance, getting a transplant is very expensive. We need $330,000 to cover the transplant expenses (including surgery and follow-up care post transplant) and anti-rejection medications (roughly $3,000 per month).

We are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with my mom’s kidney transplantation.

We have chosen to fundraise for Help Hope Live in part because Help Hope Live assures fiscal accountability of funds raised and tax deductibility for contributors.
