Frederick Jarvis

My name is Frederick Jarvis, and I have been living with diabetes for the past 25 years. Over time, diabetes has severely damaged my kidneys, and I am now suffering from end-stage renal failure.For the past two years, I have been dependent on dialysis just to stay alive. It has been one of the hardest experiences of my life. Before all of this, I loved traveling, hiking with my dog, exploring new places, and enjoying life to the fullest. I was active, motivated, and full of curiosity about the world around me. Now, because of kidney failure and the complications that come with it, my life has completely changed. The constant exhaustion from anemia and dialysis treatments makes it difficult just to get through the day. Most days, I barely have the energy to leave the couch. I can no longer travel the way I used to, and many of the things I once loved feel impossible right now.I am starting this fundraiser to help cover the overwhelming medical expenses involved in receiving a double organ transplant — a kidney and a pancreas transplant. The funds will help with medications, travel expenses, hospital costs, recovery, and everything involved in getting me through this life-changing surgery.More than anything, I just want the chance to live a normal life again. I want to work, travel, spend time outdoors, hike with my dog again, and simply feel healthy enough to enjoy life.If you are able to donate, share my story, or keep me in your prayers, it would mean the world to me.
