Hi…my name is Gayle. I have always been a very active person. I enjoyed working, taking care of our home, and spending time with friends and family. I’m married to a wonderful man who goes by “Bubba”. We’ve been married for 42 years.

In April of 2015, I was in the hospital for 10 days and was diagnosed with Stage 3 COPD. I began oxygen therapy and pulmonary rehab. I’ve been blessed in many ways over the last seven years. However, the disease has progressed to the point of me needing a Double Lung Transplant. Praise God, I was placed on the Transplant List January 20th.

This will be a long journey, both medically and financially and I invite you to join us by supporting us. The raised funds will help with relocation fees, medicine copays, and additional medical bills for the transplant not covered by insurance. Please, keep us in your prayers.

Once this journey is over, I look forward to singing once again in the church choir, spending time with family, and participating with my grandchildren. I am excited to be able to enjoy my daily routine with my husband both in and out of the home.
