Reverend Wayne Farmer is in a critical state of health, and he desperately needs your help. As a result of a serious and rare blood disorder known as hemochromatosis, Wayne needed a liver transplant in order to survive. He was very fortunate to receive the gift of life through a successful and lifesaving liver transplant surgery that took place this past April. However, Wayne’s medical team unfortunately discovered a large and growing tumor on his transplanted liver and his health is now rapidly declining. While his team of physicians decide on which treatment options are best for Wayne’s critical state of health, his out-of-pocket medical expenses continue to add up quickly. Medical bills from his transplant surgery, anti-rejection medications, health insurance premiums, and very high living and housing expenses, are much more than Wayne and his family can handle alone. They are literally “drowning” in out-of-pocket transplant related expenses and medical bills.

Wayne is well-known and well-loved in his community. He spent countless years as a preacher sharing God’s message and helping those in need through his religious commitments. From Maine to Florida, Wayne visited congregations across the country, holding inspirational Church Revivals to help others connect with the Lord. Now unable to preach due to his poor health, Wayne’s ultimate goal is to get back to his passion and do what he does best — preach his mission and inspire others through the Lord’s love and prayers.

Wayne has always been a hard-working, loving, helpful and kind family man, volunteering in his church and the community for many years. As a hobby, he spent endless hours working on motor vehicles, and held a job working for the SAAB company to support his family. It is now time to reach out and help Wayne during this extremely difficult time both financially and physically.
