Help Me Live My Best Life!

My name is Gerald Avant, and I am living with CP. I am lucky enough to live with loving and supportive caregivers. They ensure that my health and well-being are a priority. Tammy and Kerry not only take me to doctors appointments, but they also take me to Church, to visit with friends and relatives, out to eat and places in my community that I would not be able to go to if I was not living with them.

Tammy and Kerry sacrifice their time and put my needs above their own. I am grateful for them being in my life. Since I have CP and my muscles constrict and contract, I am not able to walk; therefore I must use a wheelchair. It is difficult for them to take me places in the current vehicle they own.

Tammy and Kerry are not in the financial position to buy a new vehicle. We are asking for people to donate to Help Hope Live in my honor, so that we can afford to purchase an accessible vehicle that I will be able to use for my daily travels in my wheelchair and participate in my community!

Friends of Gerald Avant are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with Catastrophic Illness.
