Gianna Vivar

Family and friends of Gianna Vivar are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with a Catastrophic Illness. Gianna has chosen to fundraise with Help Hope Live in part because donations are tax deductible for contributors and will only be used to cover medical and related expenses.

Every 9-year-old deserves the chance to explore the world, go to school, and visit friends. For our bright and resilient Gianna, who is currently navigating life with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA), these simple joys require a little extra help. At 9 years old, she continues to inspire everyone she meets while battling SMA. As she grows, so does the equipment she needs to stay mobile.

Gianna recently received a new, advanced power wheelchair that provides her with the support and independence she needs. However, this life-changing equipment has outgrown our current transportation. We are now in urgent need of a wheelchair-accessible vehicle that can safely accommodate Gianna and her newest chair.

An accessible vehicle is more than just a car for Gianna; it is her “wings.”

Access: Reliable transportation to her frequent medical appointments and therapies.

Inclusion: The ability to attend school, community events, and family outings alongside her peers.
