Family and friends of Giovanni Aveleira are raising money to pay for uninsured medical expenses associated with transplantation.

Giovanni is 30 years of age, the husband of Kyla, and father to Elijah, Seara, Giovanni, and Arturo. His employment is restricted due to health issues and dialysis treatments.

On 2-5-12 Giovanni received a kidney transplant which failed the following day as the result of blood clotting in the new organ. Giovanni was very sad and discouraged by this event. His brother tested to determine if he was a match for a second transplant operation and was diagnosed with a tumor in his pancreas so he is not able to serve as a live donor. The doctors have determined the cause of the clotting and Giovanni is back on the transplant list. The cost of the two surgeries associated with the first transplant and the upcoming second transplant are significant. Please help save his life with a contribution for his kidney transplant!
