Greg Fulton

Greg Fulton, 59, was diagnosed with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis on June 3rd of 2021.

The diagnosis followed him being very sick with Covid. Doctors suspect Covid-19 brought out his symptoms leading to his diagnosis. One June 3rd, he was considered Stage 2 and immediately put on 2 liters of oxygen per day. His last day of being able to work was the previous day, June 2nd. He had spent the last 25 years as an Electrician.

In May of 2022, he was referred to the University of Kentucky Lung Center. He started testing with them in July to confirm he was eligible for a double lung transplant. He was officially approved on December 1st, 2022. At the time of approval he is currently needing 10 liters of oxygen per day. He has been a fast progressed and is now considered critical. He is now in the process of getting his bags packed, and hoping to receive the call that it is go-time for surgery soon!

On his good days, his favorite pastime is wood burning. He has enjoyed doing this hobby since he was 10 years old. His favorite project that he loves making for friends and family is a recreation of The Last Supper. Praying for him and being his biggest supporters are his wife, Nita, and his entire family. He also receives support from the Freedom Fellowship Church, where he has been a member for the last 18 years.

Donations will be going towards expenses that are not covered by insurance and for medication that he will need to be on for the rest of his life following surgery. We appreciate every prayer and donation sent his and his family’s way.
