Family and friends of Gregory Minix are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with a Transplant. Gregory has chosen to fundraise with Help Hope Live in part because donations are tax deductible for contributors and will only be used to cover medical and related expenses.

Hello I’m Gregory Minix, I’m 64 years old and I’ve been on Dialysis 8 years. I do dialysis at home everyday and must be connected 11 and 1/2 hours each day. I am a good candidate for a kidney transplant. I’m listed at UTMB Galveston TX and Baylor St. Luke’s in Houston TX. I’ve also started the process to become listed at Baylor Scott and White in Dallas TX and UAMS in Little Rock AK.

Your tax deductible donation will allow me to pay for travel, lodging and meals after the transplant. I must stay at least four weeks near the transplant hospital, longer if there are complications.

Your donations would ensure that I’m near the transplant hospital during the vital post surgery. During this time I’ll be closely monitored for signs of infection and signs of kidney rejection.
