Family and friends of Hal McNeil are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with the liver transplant that he is in need of. Hal has a condition call Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NASH). Nash is life threating and can cause cirrhosis or liver cancer. Hal has been recently diagnosed with cancer on his liver which is the reason for the urgent liver transplant.

Hal has chosen to fundraise for Help Hope Live in part because Help Hope Live assures fiscal accountability of funds raised and tax deductibility for contributors.
