Henry Ratliff

Family and friends of Henry Ratliff are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with a Transplant. Henry has chosen to fundraise with Help Hope Live in part because donations are tax deductible for contributors and will only be used to cover medical and related expenses.

Henry was born September 28th 1999 with a fibrous tumor in his left ventricle. We were told it was very rare and his chances of survival were small. By the grace of God the tumor stopped growing for a while and he was thriving..

He had an implantable cardioverter device put in and then another better one a few years later. It has been a blessing. He has gone into cardiac arrest 3 times in his life. The last time a few years ago, This time his blood pressure dropped dangerously low and he was placed on the ECMO machine. Necrosis set in his feet and quickly traveled up his legs and he had to have both legs amputated above his knees.

He is now at a level 6 on the heart transplant list. This fund raiser is for bills and needs that insurance won’t cover, It goes to Help Hope Live in a fund that pays directly to where money is needed.

Many of you know Henry and what he has been through and have been there for us through this journey he has been on. It is all very appreciated.
