India Hoeschen-Stein

India Hoeschen-Stein (also known as India Rose) is continuing to raise money to help pay for her post-kidney transplant medical costs.

After 5 years on the transplant list, India was blessed to receive a kidney transplant at Johns Hopkins on 12/01/13. This fund was set up in 2012 to raise money to help pay for travel, housing, and uninsured medical expenses associated with her kidney transplant. As of 01/01/19, thanks to your generosity, India has raised $12,099! Thus far these funds have been used to pay for travel, accommodations and for medications such as insulin, and medical supplies.

Future funds raised will be used to help offset her annual out-of-pocket medical expenses and in particular to pay for her diabetes medications (India became a Type II diabetic due to steroids needed to prevent kidney rejection).

Help Hope Live, is a nonprofit organization that has been assisting the transplant community for over 30 years. All donations are tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law, are held by Help Hope Live in the Northeast Kidney Transplant Fund, and are administered by Help Hope Live for transplant-related expenses only.
